Specializing in EMDR therapy and TRE®

for stress relief and trauma recovery.

There is an underlying belief that everyone not only has the capacity to recover from stress and/or trauma, but there is an intrinsic and biological drive to do so. I invite you to question if you would benefit from stress relief, releasing physical patterns of tension and/or addressing unresolved events that have contributed to any ongoing and invasive distress.

Kintsugi Example from Wikipedia

I was immediately intrigued after first learning about the Japanese art called “Kintsukoroi”. This particular style of art is centered upon repairing broken objects not by concealing or masking the cracks, but rather by accepting, embracing and even highlighting them with bright, attractive colors such as gold and silver. I was immediately drawn to this art not only for its beauty, but the parallel philosophy with my work as a therapist. Challenging, terrible events and accidents will occur and we can feel broken, flawed and be driven to hide these “cracked” parts of ourselves.  The Inner Collective, similar to the art of Kintsukoroi, honors and invites the collective sum of all parts to be honored as ones story and history.

Everyone at various moments in life one may experience the spectrum of stress and trauma. From everyday tension, busy mind and forgetfulness to vehicle accidents to chronic or early childhood trauma. We may benefit from increased relaxation and releasing unresolved trauma or patterns of anxiety in the mind and body.

Inner Collective specializes in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and TRE (Tension and Trauma Release Exercises) for stress relief and trauma recovery.
